Major Harris Jr. served in the United States Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant
SHEPPARD AFB, TX, June 29, 2010 /Nutrition PR News/ -- Major Harris Jr., Quality Assurance Personnel for the Department of the Air Force, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in government service, and as a true professional during his 26-year tenure in the United States Air Force.
Specializing in management, Mr. Harris has over 37 years of professional experience in leading and managing people. He has been employed as quality assurance personnel for the past 11 years. Prior to his position with the Department of the Air Force, Mr. Harris served in the United States Air Force as the Superintendent of Nutritional Medicine Services, where he was responsible for the supervision of more than 45 people at once. He attributes his success to the support and love he received from his beloved wife.
In 1999, Mr. Harris received an MBA. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education and an Associate of Applied Science from Wayland Baptist University in 1995. Lastly, he received an Associate Degree in Food and Nutritional Science from the Community College of the Air Force in 1994. He is ServSafe certified by the National Restaurant Association and is a member of the International Food Service Executives Association (IFSEA). Mr. Harris has been recognized with numerous military and civilian awards and decorations.
